Lesson 2: Money is an idea – you are a thinklonaire!

Imagine one day walking into a shop wearing dark shades, leather jacket and some big boots and asking, ‘how much for the Ferrari?’ Salesman says ‘a million US dollars’. No problem, you take out or bank card, ‘3 million thinklons in there, one Ferrari please!’ Oh you laugh. It could happen. Just kidding. Not this year.

Well, to some extent it is true. In its simplest form, money is an idea. An idea of value. Notes and coins are there to confirm and trade value in a controlled system of business and exchange. What we conventionally call money are just notes and coins that represent a vehicle of exchange for money from one form to another.

It is very critical to know the difference especially if your goal is Financial Freedom and if you want to be rich. Rich people don’t chase for notes and coins or bank account balances, they print money. Now, we don’t mean printing fake notes and coins to cheat the monetary system but creating systems that are sure enough to create value (money). As you can see, you can only do that if you know what money is. Knowing what it is not is one way of knowing it but you need to go a step further in knowing what it really is.

I see people every day, good hardworking people who work for the rest of their lives and their careers FOR MONEY but DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS. If you don’t know what it is how do you know what to look for, how to look for it and let’s say you find it, how will you know that it’s the one you are looking for. You can’t recognise what you don’t know!

So the first step in your Buckological journey to Financial Freedom is to gain a thorough understanding of what it is that is called money. We emphasise this process of knowing mostly because it takes away the emotion. Knowledge tends to help very much with emotion. It focuses the emotion in the right direction.

Now that you know that money is just an idea of value, you now need to make conscious contact with your new knowledge. Anything worth having is worth working hard for. You need to experience money. Now, how do you experience money? Simple, idea! Everyone has an idea of something of value. Think about it, write it down, create steps of making it a reality, get off your seat and start working on it. If you can make that your everyday life, you will never WORK for the rest of your life FOR MONEY. You will MAKE MONEY. Study your Buckologist hard and you will learn how.
